Et malheureusement bon nombre d’indépendants ne le sont pas.

Après la carte liberté de la Sncf, les ski pass liberté, le navigo liberté, le bouquet liberté de la caisse d’Epargne …
On nous vend, à longueur de journée, un monde sans contrainte.
« Faites ce que vous voulez, quand vous le voulez ! »
Mais ce n’est pas ma vision de la liberté.
La liberté est possible, si elle vit, s’épanouit dans un cadre.
Rassurant, envoûtant.
Bien sûr que ces digital nomad peuvent être libres ainsi, mais ce n’est même pas forcément le cas pour tous.
Etre libre, c’est choisir les contraintes que l’on veut dans sa vie
Travaillant à mon compte, je n’ai pas forcément moins de contraintes …
La seule différence est que je les vis plutôt bien car je les ai choisies.
Voici donc le secret pour te sentir libre : apprends à aimer les contraintes que tu t’ai choisies
Il existe un grand mythe autour des créatifs, celui de la liberté extrême !
Mais pour avoir publié un roman en 2018, je peux te garantir que les contraintes sont bien réelles.
Lourdes, ennuyeuses, parfois psychorigides
Des heures fixes, un nombre de pages précis à rédiger dans un temps donné, un nombre de mots par page, un nombre de répétitions dans le texte
Et je peux continuer comme cela très longtemps …
Psychorigide mais libre, tu vois !
Mais sans ces contraintes de dingue, je n’aurai pas réussi à publier ces 400 pages
Autant de versions, de corrections et d’instant de démotivation
L’ultra rigueur est donc l’arme redoutable pour pouvoir être libre.
Libre d’écrire, libre de choisir où et quand travailler, libre du calendrier, libre de choisir la couverture, le titre, libre de tout effacer et recommencer
Et liberté suprême même ! Libre de publier même sans éditeur reconnu sur la place publique
Libre de donner vie à son livre.
Et c’est aussi valable pour la vidéo, la musique …
On est tous libre de pouvoir créer et publier
De ne pas se plier aux désiratas de ce qui se vendra le mieux
Le luxe de la véritable liberté, et c’est fabuleux.
Dans l’imaginaire commun, un créatif n’a qu’a se lever le matin et vivre sa journée rêvée, à la guise de ses envies, sans se soucier de quoi que ce soit
Mais il n’en est rien
Vivre de sa créativité, requiert une discipline quotidienne de fer.
C’est planifier chaque journée de manière militaire pour ne pas être happé par un grand vide, et ne plus avancer
Etre libre ce n’est pas réfléchir à son humeur du jour pour savoir si l’on va pouvoir bosser aujourd’hui où non
Etre libre, c’est s’organiser, et c’est peut-être autant être routier, que compositeur, infirmière que documentaliste
Pour vivre sa liberté, il n’y a pas à choisir entre son emploi de salarié ou son statut de retraité
Une fois que tu as bien intégré que la liberté, c’est s’autoriser à choisir ses contraintes
Et bien l’effet est immédiat, tu es déjà beaucoup plus libre qu’il y a quelques minutes
Alors comment t’envoler vers ta liberté, si tu salarié ?
Tout d’abord en posant tes propres contraintes, ton cadre.
Peut-être d’ailleurs que ce cadre est ton Cdi comme cette juriste en paye, très impliquée dans son boulot et qui choisit de vivre sa liberté en organisant des séjours en montagne durant le week-end et les vacances.
Sa liberté est de pouvoir avoir une double vie comme elle l’entend, se partageant entre le confort d’un salaire rassurant et récurrent et des journées en plein air.
C’est sa liberté à elle. Avec ses contraintes.
Tes contraintes sont peut-être de l’ordre de tes horaires, de ton mode de transport …
N’oublies pas, devenir libre c’est choisir ses contraintes, quelque soit les contraintes.
Si telle contrainte ne te plaît plus, à toi de te réorganiser.
Une contrainte doit avoir son penchant positif. Oeuvrer pour la bonne cause. Partir avant les embouteillages sur le périf, soit, mais pour pouvoir rentrer plus tôt et profiter de son temps libre.
S’imposer 3 séances de sport par semaine, contraignant de prime abord … mais c’est pour rester en pleine forme.
Un poste peu motivant ? Mais des horaires sympas alors on se dit pourquoi pas
Une contrainte de prendre ton mercredi après-midi ? A toi d’organiser ton planning pour réussir à faire en 4 jours ton boulot de la semaine mais tu as du temps pour tes enfants.
Les contraintes peuvent donc être utilisées au service de notre vie !
Elles nous libèrent en quelques sortes
Grâce à des principes, des règles, des actions, des cadres
On sait que l’on ne peut pas faire tout et n’importe quoi, trop de liberté pourrait être une source de très grande angoisse
Et grâce aux contraintes que l’on s’impose, on va pouvoir atteindre nos objectifs
En matière de contrainte, personnellement je me suis fixée par exemple de publier un article et un podcast par jour … très ambitieux …
Et je peux t’assurer que malgré le fait d’aimer écrire et enregistrer des podcasts, se fixer une publication par jour ressemble vraiment a une contrainte certains soirs, lorsque je préférerai me plonger dans un bon bouquin ou dans une série Netflix
Mais suivre cette contrainte, offre un cadre à mes publications, un rythme régulier qui au final me permet de gagner en audience.
Les contraintes sont donc très personnelles, à toi d’oser poser les tiennes et vivre intensément ta liberté !
Et n’oublies pas, on a qu’une vie, et c’est aujourd’hui qu’elle recommence, alors bon voyage
